Edimar Cardoso

Cofounder of Quave ONE and DevOps engineer

I cofounded Quave ONE, a multi-cloud PaaS to deploy, scale and manage applications. On the side I build products at ZODO, with infrastructure run by an AI agent that asks for my approval on anything sensitive, and work on open source at OpenBasalt.

Series

My infrastructure, automated with AI

An AI agent registers domains, keeps secrets behind my approval, deploys, tests with real e-mail and measures SEO and Ads. Five steps, one cycle, with real examples.

Products

Products I work on

Each one has its own site with the details.

  • Quave ONE

    cofounder

A multi-cloud PaaS: deploy, scale and manage applications on your own cloud account or on theirs.

Quave ONE is a company independent from ZODO, which I cofounded.

From ZODO, my software studio:

  • Prospia

    prospia.ai

B2B customer acquisition with AI: lead intelligence from the Brazilian company registry and ad campaign automation, operable over MCP.

  • BuscaMetal

    buscametal.com.br

Connects buyers and suppliers of steel and metals in Brazil.

  • RedundantDNS

    redundantdns.com

One DNS zone served by two or more providers at once, kept in sync and verified.

  • AI hub

    ai-hub.rc.center

A secrets vault for AI agents: the agent asks over MCP, you approve on your phone, and the secret reaches that session end-to-end encrypted.

  • OTPBox

    otpbox.rc.center

Disposable e-mail inboxes for AI agents and automated tests, over MCP or REST, with the one-time code or verification link already extracted.

Open source

Open source projects

Built in the open, with public code.

  • OpenBasalt

    openbasalt.org

An open source organization for infrastructure software: independent projects that fit together.

  • Samba Conductor

    OpenBasalt project

Runs a Samba Active Directory domain from a web console, with single sign-on through OpenID Connect and SAML. Pre-release.

  • tui-tools

    tui.tools

Terminal tools for Linux administration. Each one shows the system as it is and previews the exact command of every change before running it.

About

Since 2005

I started writing software in 2005, at a print shop in Florianópolis, with Delphi and PostScript for variable-data printing. In 2015 I joined a remote team working with Java for the web, and later moved to JavaScript, Meteor, React and MongoDB at Quave, while infrastructure and DevOps became my main focus. In 2022 I cofounded zcloud with friends from the field to make DevOps simpler and cloud costs lower; today it is Quave ONE, a company independent from ZODO. At ZODO I take that goal one step further: an AI agent operates the infrastructure of my products, and I approve what is sensitive.
